This is the second of two broadband packages from AOL and has a variety of offers. You pay £4.99 in the first three months and pay £14.99 thereafter – order online and you get one month free.

This service is for light usage, at 8mbs download speed and 10GB usage allowance. Check to see if your location is supported by the AOL service. The minimum contract here is 18 months. You will need a BT line to be able to receive this service. Note that if you are unable to receive the quoted offers, you will be charged a higher rate of £9.99 for the first three months and a much higher £19.99 thereafter.

That said, the wireless router is free. This service isn’t bad and does seem to rely on good introductory deals and offers to get off the ground. Just make sure you will still be happy with the service a few months down the line.
