Sky Broadband Max or Unlimited as it is now known brings you very fast broadband. The download speed is 20MB and the upload speed is 1.3MB. Your monthly allowance for usage is unlimited. This service is therefore ideal for heavy use.

Note though, that you will need to get a combination package in order to receive broadband from Sky. You will need to set up Sky TV (the type of TV you install is up to you, and costs vary). If you want to receive Unlimited broadband for just £10 a month you will need to have Sky Talk as well (otherwise it costs £15 a month).

Your wireless router is free in the package and you will get a year’s worth of free McAfee Internet Security. Technical support is available 24/7.

All in all, to get a three-way package of TV, broadband and phone with Sky, you are looking at a cost of around £35 a month – this varies according to the combination. Prices may increase from 1st September 2009 so make sure you find out the latest charges.

This package is good for the whole family and Sky TV is certainly of a very good quality with a really good range of channels. You can order premium channels to suit your needs.
